Thanks for your honest opinion. I feel the same way, not just about Medium but about the publishing industry's view on non-fiction. Every course on writing is about "how to write about your expertise if you're an expert" and "how to build an industry around your book". Do we really need so many "five ways to..." articles? I long to read more personal stories too, and I hope to write a few more.
